About Argentive
Argentive was founded in 2002 to address the needs of small- and medium-sized businesses. Too often, small companies rely on undertrained or overburdened internal assets to manage their mission-critical databases. Argentive provides the expertise and stability businesses need to be successful. Our staff is trained and prepared to handle your data, 24 hours a day.
We're there when you need us, but for a fraction of the cost of a full-time employee. You no longer need to worry about employees staying on top of the latest security risks, patches, and versions. Nor do you have to be concerned about your staff DBA "jumping ship" once they've accumulated experience and training.
We take care of your data, and leave you to concentrate on what you're good at—your business.
Big or Small, We're Ready
No matter how big your database is, it's the heartbeat of your business. Our staff manages systems of a few megabytes to multiple terabytes. Our clients include businesses involved in web commerce and online gaming. We work with companies in highly regulated industries such as medical and pharmaceutical manufacturing. And our client list includes Yahoo! and the US Army
Experience Counts
Our staff brings decades of experience to play for you. We aren't just administrators or technicians. We make it our business to understand your business, so that we can increase the value you receive from your investment. It isn't enough in today's marketplace to hire with a firm that just does database administration. Our staff provides depth, experience, and real-world knowledge that others can't match—not just a simple certification.
Argentive is about more than just databases. Our staff writes for industry publications and magazines, and presents at technical conferences. We're active participants and sponsors of local user groups, helping build the technical abilities of our peers.
Responsibility to our Community
We feel it's important to support the people around us and give back to our community. Argentive provides technical assistance and sponsorship to local youth and educational groups, and encourage our employees to volunteer their time to efforts to help others
In 2005, Argentive signed on to sponsor the American Women's Track Cycling Fund, a grassroots effort started by Sarah Hammer, a World Champion cyclist and favorite for an Olympic medal in Beijing. The goal of the AWTCF is to build young American female cyclists, and develop champions on and off the bike.
